In this post we are going to look at a few things you should watch out for when you are picking a good baby bottle warmer.
Ease of Use:
We are rating this quite highly as it is not necessary in our opinion to have a bottle warmer with lots of bells and whistles. Your main priority will be to heat the milk up to a hot temperature and to know that it is not too hot for your baby.
So, we prefer a lot of the push button solutions where you just need to push one button and the bottle warmer will heat the milk up to a hot temperature but also that have an indicator to make sure that the milk is not too hot.
Another option you should look for with any good bottle warmer is the ability to heat baby foods in much the same way. This will save time and it is very handy when you are travelling or need to heat baby food on the move.
Size of Bottle?
This, although it is quite a small point is well worth taking into account. Some bottle warmers we have had a look at were very good but the size of the bottle was restricted and thuis can be annoying as you do not want to have to buy a new bottle to be able to use it. So it is a good idea to make sure you have a bottle warmer that you can use with multiple bottle sizes.
Finally, you should look at where you are going to be using the bottle warmer. If you are going to be using the bottle warmer out and about you should make sure you get one that has its own power source.
The main priority should be ease of use however and of course that it heats up the milk or baby food evenly.
Check out the Dr. Brown’s Natural Flow Deluxe Bottle Warmer which is our top pick and also the The First Years Babypro Quick Serve Bottle Warmer if you plan to be using mostly at home. Alternatively if you are travelling you can check out the Philips AVENT Express Food and Bottle Warmer and the Tommee Tippee Travel Bottle and Food Warmer as a decent travel bottle warmer.
